Beyond the West Valley, I take projects across Arizona. Designing here is its own discipline — the light, the heat and the way materials behave are not the same as anywhere else, and the plan has to account for that.

Light and heat as design inputs
Arizona sun is relentless and directional. It fades textiles, bleaches finishes and turns a west-facing room into an oven by late afternoon. I plan for it — window coverings that manage glare and heat, finishes that hold their color, and material choices made with summer in mind from the start.
Window treatments that earn their keep
In this climate, drapery and shades are not decoration. Motorized shades on tall glass, drapery that insulates, and blinds placed where they do real work — controlling heat gain and privacy while finishing the room. It's one of the first things I specify.
Local sourcing and coordination
Working statewide means drawing on Arizona fabricators, tile houses and trades, and coordinating delivery and installation across distances. I manage that logistics tail so a project outside my immediate area still runs on sequence.
