Thoughtful design is the luxury.

Beautiful spaces are only the beginning. I design around the people who use them — what they need, what they value, what deserves to remain, and where thoughtful change can make the greatest difference.

The idea

YOU. ONLY BETTER.

I start with you: how you live, what frustrates you, what you keep reaching for.

When something doesn't sit right, I find the real problem underneath and solve it. The result is warm, layered, and built to work.

The signature specialty

Kitchens that work. Baths that restore.

Your bathroom is the first and last room of the day. Your kitchen is a workshop, not a photograph. These are the rooms I'm known for, and the hardest to get right.

They live or die on coordination. One decision left open in week two can stall the whole job in week eight. Managing that sequence is the work.

How the work holds together

A few beliefs that survive every project.

Beauty with purpose

Every choice has to earn its place by doing something — not just looking like it belongs.

Custom where it matters

Built-to-fit where it solves a problem; trade and ready-made everywhere else. The budget goes where it counts.

Durable for real life

Fine materials chosen to be used — by the family, the dog, the decade. Luxury you're allowed to touch.

Old and new in conversation

Modern materials mixed with antiques and vintage references, so a room feels collected rather than bought.

Details that support the whole

Detailed without becoming chaotic. The small decisions add up to one calm, considered room.

Kim didn't just design my space — she took time to understand how we live. She listened to my ideas and my budget, helped me refine my vision, and understood that I was looking for both aesthetic appeal and functionality. She helped me find the perfect balance between my style and what would feel comfortable for the other members of my family. She made the whole process feel personal and collaborative. I couldn't have asked for a better “design experience.”

The process

Listen. Plan. Design. Coordinate. Install.

How it works
  1. 01

    Listen

How you live, what isn't working, and what you want the space to feel like.

  2. 02

    Define

Scope, priorities, an anticipated investment, timing, and who's responsible for what.

  3. 03

    Plan

Measurements, existing plans, circulation, furnishings and — crucially — sequence.

  4. 04

    Design

Concept, materials, fixtures, furnishings, art and the custom pieces that earn it.

  5. 05

    Coordinate

Contractors, fabricators and vendors — decisions, specs and lead times, tracked.

  6. 06

    Install

Final placement, styling and completion, to the scope we agreed.

Materials & sourcing

Quality you can specify, and live with.

Through the trade, I source cabinetry, stone, tile, fixtures and furnishings you won't find in a showroom, and specify custom pieces where a room needs them.

What matters isn't how precious a material is, but whether it suits your life: fine leather, down-backed seating, textiles that survive children and pets.

About

I'm the owner and principal — and the one you'll actually work with.

Originally from Colorado, I came to Arizona as an Air Force wife, studied at Phoenix College, later taught design at Glendale Community College, and have been designing since 2005.

An award-winning designer, I've worked across residential, multifamily and commercial projects in Phoenix, Flagstaff and El Paso. It always comes back to listening first.
