I'm originally from Colorado, and I take a limited number of projects there each year. The personal connection matters — I know the light, the seasons and the way a Colorado house wants to feel.
How a destination project works
Distance changes the method while the standard stays the same. Most of the design happens remotely — measured plans, selections, drawings and decisions handled over video and shared boards — anchored by scheduled site visits at the moments that matter: the initial walkthrough, key milestones, and installation.
Travel, handled honestly
Approved travel and accommodation are arranged and paid up front, then reimbursed against a budget we set in writing before anything's booked — so the cost is known from the start. The full arrangement is spelled out in the FAQ.
Projects that suit the distance
Long-distance work rewards clear scope: renovations, kitchens and baths, and furnishing projects where decisions can be front-loaded and the sequence planned tightly. If your project depends on daily on-site presence, I'll tell you plainly whether a destination engagement is the right fit.
