The challenge
A senior-living community that needed one cohesive, welcoming identity across very different building types — the clubhouse and several residential building styles — rather than a patchwork of finishes.

The approach
A community-wide exterior color strategy. I developed coordinated palettes applied across the architecture — stucco, columns, window surrounds, trim, plinths and doors — with separate schemes for the clubhouse and for each residential building type, all speaking one visual language. As much of the work was specification and finish placement as color: documentation that told the crews exactly what went where.
What it became
The community reads as one place — distinct buildings held together by a single, deliberate identity.
