The challenge

A refresh built around what the client already owned — their furnishings and personal collections — rather than starting over. The adjoining living and dining areas needed to feel connected, and a few small architectural moments, including an existing niche, needed to feel intentional rather than leftover.

The approach

Custom window treatments, upholstery, color, lighting and thoughtful space planning brought the living and dining areas together, working with the client's pieces instead of around them. The existing niche was reworked to read as a deliberate, integrated part of the room rather than an afterthought.
